A taller Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG launched via raffle on July 29th (with reports claiming some bots secured 32,000 entries per person), but it’s lost some favor to the shorter silhouette. Unlike its counterpart, the follow-up drop indulges in the model’s inaugural “Black Toe” color-blocking. High-quality, smooth leather at the bases boast a white makeup that allows the cream lateral swooshes and rich blue hits that take over everything from “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongue label and bottom heel overlay to revel in the spotlight; midsoles also indulge in a seemingly-“aged” aesthetic. Elsewhere, logos from all parties involved are embroidered and debossed at the heel.
